Devices should have a time limit!
Introduction:
Hands up if you have a device at home such as a laptop, a cell phone or an ipad? Now hands up, if you have any social media, for example (Tiktok, Instagram, Snapchat, Youtube, Facebook, etc I believe devices SHOULD have a time limit so we can have a healthy physical and social lifestyle! Now hands up if you at least try to minimize yourself to no more than two hour on your device, be honest.
Fact/Example/Reason:
Minimizing your screen time can help with sleep the most. For example, imagine you have a test at school tomorrow and the night before you stay up late on your phone. But on the day of the test you wake up tired and moody which makes you unable to concentrate. This is because a blue light released from our device screens, restrains the production of the melatonin in our brains, the hormone that controls our sleep-wake cycle. That is why it makes it even more difficult for us to fall asleep and wake up the next day, so people suggest turning off your devices at least one hour before bed, to help sleep on time and wake up in a good mood.
Conclusion:
Therefore, devices SHOULD have a time limit to improve both our physical and mental health. The time you spend on your device also wastes time you have for exercise, learning, and even family time. If you want to improve on those things, all you need to do is just take away a couple of hours or even minutes to help build you a healthy lifestyle.
