Bula ! For FIOP today I finished one of Ms Tipenes reading tasks, because the Olympics started the first week of Term 3, that has been our topic lately and what this task is based on. We had to read articles of some of New Zealand's talented athletes that won medals in the Olympics then on each slide, write in our own words what the article is about and what was the main idea of the article. Talofa lava everyone! Yesterday and today's maths work was this slide deck based on Algebra, Room 3 maths learnt about BEDMAS and inverse operations to help solve most of these equations, which took me and my maths group a quite while to understand until we figured what order to solve them and how to use inverse operation. Modern Olympics poster !

 

Bonjour! Due to lock down I have been doing some FIOP, I finished the create task we had to do in Ms Setefanos class. We were learning about the Olympics and the difference between modern and ancient Olympics, for the create task we had to choose a sport and make a poster about all the rules, how it is judged and how the swimmers eat and train. Google meet challenge !

Good evening everyone ! Because New Zealand has had a few covid cases, we have gone into level 4 lock down and will remain for the next couple of days. Team 5 had our first google meet session this morning and in Ms Tipenes literacy class we were told to do Mr.Fergusons Cyber smart challenge, It is teaching us how to be prepared for a google meet and how to be mindful to both your teacher and peers !
